US high-end speaker brand Perlisten unveiled the new “A Series” at a launch event in Singapore on November 5. Inheriting flagship S and R Series technology while achieving a more accessible price point, the models are designed for both stereo and home cinema applications.
Reference-Grade Engineering for Wider Audience
The A Series was developed maintaining Perlisten’s rigorous engineering philosophy while emphasizing real-room versatility and use in everyday listening spaces. Partner Lars Johansen commented, “Every product starts with a clean sheet design. With the A Series, we focused on real-world versatility without compromising the Perlisten sound.”
Purpose-Built Driver Units
The A Series features newly developed 38mm Teteron composite dome tweeters with dedicated waveguides and 215mm carbon fiber woofers, achieving controlled directivity, low distortion, and extended bass response beyond cabinet size.

The A Series comprises four models:
- A4t: Flagship tower speaker
- A3t: Floor-standing speaker
- A3m: Compact monitor speaker
- A2s: Surround/height speaker
All models are designed for seamless integration across stereo and home cinema applications.
Singapore Market Expectations
Soon Ong, CEO of The Clarity Group (Perlisten’s exclusive Singapore distributor) hosting the launch event, stated: “The A Series means you can enjoy Perlisten performance every day. Easy to install and enjoy, suitable for apartments to detached homes. More people in Singapore can step up to the Perlisten sound at a more accessible price.”
The launch also formally introduced the Trinnov Altitude CI processor, first reported by StereoNET in August, to the Singapore market as a Perlisten partner product. The compact yet scalable Altitude CI platform is designed for premium residential and boutique commercial AV systems, combining Audio-over-IP architecture with Trinnov’s proprietary Optimiser room correction technology.
