Technical Audio Devices Laboratories (TAD) has announced the TAD-ME1TX-G Special Set, a special limited edition of the Evolution series bookshelf speaker featuring a distinctive Luxe Green finish. The set will be available in early February 2026 through build-to-order sales, limited to just 50 sets worldwide.
Elegant Luxe Green Finish
The TAD-ME1TX-G Special Set is a special limited edition model featuring the highly acclaimed TAD-ME1TX bookshelf speaker with an elegant green lacquer finish applied to its wooden cabinet. The finish changes expression depending on the angle of light, designed to harmonize both spatial aesthetics and sound quality.
The dedicated stand TAD-ST3TX-G is finished in the same color, creating a unified, integrated appearance with the speakers.
Sound Design Inheriting TAD’s Technology
The speaker itself is a 3-way bass-reflex bookshelf speaker designed to achieve TAD’s pursuit of point-source reproduction. It features a 9cm coaxial CST Driver, with the tweeter utilizing a proprietary vapor-deposited 25mm beryllium diaphragm and the midrange employing a magnesium diaphragm.
The woofer uses a 16cm MACC (Multi-layered Aramid Composite Cone) diaphragm. The enclosure adopts the SILENT (Structurally Inert Laminated ENclosure Technology) construction, known for its high damping properties and rigidity, and incorporates a Bidirectional ADS port for bass frequencies.
