Technical Features

ATL & LaminairX Airflow Technology

Features PMC’s proprietary ATL (Advanced Transmission Line) bass loading technology to extend low-frequency reproduction. The newly developed LaminairX airflow technology suppresses port noise while delivering clean bass.

Redesigned Midrange Dome

The midrange employs redesigned dome drivers incorporating an “a-void” absorption chamber that suppresses rear radiation reflections for clear midrange reproduction.

34mm Hand-Built Soft Dome Tweeter

High frequencies are handled by a 34mm hand-built soft dome unit. PMC’s skilled craftsmen’s meticulous manufacturing process achieves smooth, extended high-frequency characteristics.

system36 Platform

The newly developed system36 platform integrates 32-bit DSP crossover processing with 3600W high-efficiency amplification. Digital processing enables precise crossover settings, while ample amplifier headroom ensures stable reproduction at all volume levels.

power20 Option

The 2000W Class-D amplifier “power20” is optionally available for driving XBD subwoofers. In environments requiring bass extension, combining with XBD base units achieves full-range reproduction.

Dolby Atmos Compatible

Supporting the immersive audio trend, the series is Dolby Atmos compatible, covering everything from Atmos mixing in studios to Atmos playback in home theaters.

Scalable Design

The Main Monitor series adopts a scalable design philosophy, from standalone use to expansion with XBD base units. Systems can be flexibly configured according to room size and application.

PMC’s Design Philosophy

PMC is a vertically integrated manufacturer that “develops everything in-house.” By designing and manufacturing all components—from drivers, enclosures, and amplifiers to DSP—in-house, they achieve system-wide optimization.
