High-end audio brand “Moon” by Simaudio of Canada has announced a new product collection, “Compass,” and has launched its first product, the “371” network player/integrated amplifier.
Multiple Functions Integrated into One Box
The “371” is an all-in-one solution that integrates almost all the main functions required in a modern audio system, including a preamplifier, power amplifier, network player, D/A converter, and an MM/MC compatible phono stage. By simply connecting speakers, you can enjoy a variety of sound sources at a high level.
The power amplifier section secures an output of 100W/ch (8Ω) and 200W/ch (4Ω). The streaming function is equipped with the multifunctional “MiND 2” platform, which supports Roon Ready, Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, and AirPlay.
Inheriting Technology from Higher-End Models
This unit is equipped with the proprietary distortion-canceling technology “MDCA (MOON Distortion-Cancelling Amplifier),” developed for the company’s higher-end “North Collection.” This technology achieves a more accurate and musical sound by speeding up the global feedback loop. In addition, the power supply section adopts a hybrid configuration “MHP (MOON Hybrid Power)” that combines a linear power supply and a switching power supply, achieving both stable power supply and quietness.
