AGD Productions, Inc., an American company known for its GaN (Gallium Nitride)-based Class-D amplifier technology, has announced a new compact two-channel power amplifier, the ‘AGD FORTE’.
400W+400W in a Dual-Mono Configuration
The FORTE employs a fully dual-mono configuration that delivers 400W + 400W into a 4Ω load. At its core is the company’s GaNPower module technology, with an architecture that is an evolution of their ‘AGD Gran Vivace’ flagship model.
Key Features
- High-Quality Components: Features audiophile-grade components and an ultra-low-noise 100% GaN-based power supply.
- Precision-Machined Chassis: Housed in a compact, precision-machined chassis. It is designed to visually and functionally complement the company’s ‘AGD Andante MKII’ DAC/preamplifier/streamer.
- Upgradable Architecture: AGD’s modular GaNPower design allows for future upgrades for compatibility and performance enhancements.
According to AGD’s founder and chief designer, Alberto Guerra, the FORTE’s circuitry and mechanical design have been refined for lower noise, higher power density, and improved system integration.
The AGD FORTE is scheduled to be unveiled to the public at the Capital Audio Fest in Rockville, Maryland, on November 14, 2025.
