The Spanish high-end audio brand Kroma Atelier has announced the new floorstanding speaker ‘MARIBEL,’ which stands at the pinnacle of its flagship ‘Reference Series.’ Described as a “window into the soul of the music,” this speaker was designed by Javier Millán and is the culmination of the company’s sound philosophy and craftsmanship.
Proprietary Materials and Construction
Like all Kroma Atelier speakers, the MARIBEL’s cabinet is made from a synthetic material called Krion. Krion is non-conductive, non-magnetic, and has a high mass, which minimizes resonance from the enclosure and results in a neutral and natural sound.
In addition, the bass reflex port is made of wood handcrafted by musical instrument makers, demonstrating a commitment to maximizing the acoustic properties of the materials.
Overwhelming Driver Complement
The MARIBEL is equipped with a comprehensive driver array that befits its grand scale.
- Tweeters: Two AMT (Air Motion Transformer) tweeters
