The American high-end audio accessory manufacturer Harmonic Resolution Systems (HRS) has announced an upgrade to the adjustable model of its patented chassis noise reduction product, the ‘Vortex System.‘
Effective Chassis Noise Elimination
The HRS Vortex System is designed to maximize the performance of audio components, especially those with rigid metal chassis. A key feature is that it is used in direct contact with the component’s chassis, rather than under its existing feet.
This allows the Vortex to effectively dissipate the minute vibrations (noise) generated in the component’s chassis and prevent external vibrations from affecting the component. The result is said to be an expanded soundstage, improved tonality, and a more engaging overall musical experience.
Upgrade Details
This upgrade applies to the adjustable model, the V-150R. The main improvements are as follows:
- Improved Adjustment Precision: A better thread fit allows for more precise height adjustment.
- Improved Stability: The stability of the adjustment is improved for long-term use.
- Improved Sonic Performance: Energy transfer efficiency has been improved for even better sound quality.
How to Use
HRS recommends using at least three Vortex units for stability. The Vortex is optimized to achieve its maximum effect when used in combination with the company’s isolation bases.
With this upgrade, the HRS Vortex System has evolved into an even more powerful tool for unlocking the full potential of high-end audio systems.
