Harman International has announced the new ‘4369’ studio monitor, a 2-way floor-standing speaker from the JBL brand. The price is $12,000 (pair).
From the Professional Studio to the Home
The 4369 is a model that optimizes the technology and design cultivated in JBL’s professional speakers for listening in a home environment. It features the iconic blue baffle and a choice of walnut or black walnut veneer finishes.
Powerful Driver Configuration
- Woofer: Equipped with a 38cm (15-inch) diameter paper pulp cone woofer, the ‘JW380P-8’. It delivers powerful and deep low-frequency reproduction.
- Compression Driver: Adopts JBL’s patented D2 dual driver, the ‘D2430K’. It houses two 3-inch compression drivers in a single enclosure, achieving extremely low distortion and a wide dynamic range.
- Horn: The HDI (High-Definition Imaging) horn accurately controls the sound from the driver and delivers a uniform sound over a wide area.
