Shanling has announced the “SCD3.3”, a new flagship top-loading SACD player that highly integrates traditional disc playback with the latest digital audio technology. Priced at approximately $3,899, it will be released in November 2025.

The SCD3.3 is designed as a high-quality source component for demanding Hi-Fi setups, aiming to provide an authentic and musical listening experience.

  • Discrete R2R DAC: The heart of D/A conversion features a second-generation discrete R2R DAC module built with 212 ultra-precision resistors. Switchable between NOS (Non-Oversampling) and OS (Oversampling) modes.

  • Tube Analog Output: The analog output stage employs classic 12AT7 vacuum tubes, adding rich natural harmonics and musical warmth to the sound.

  • Versatile Digital Hub: The SCD3.3 is not just a disc player. It functions as a full-featured digital audio center with abundant digital inputs including USB (Type-A for storage, Type-B for PC/Mac), coaxial S/PDIF, and I2S (via HDMI), supporting high-resolution file playback up to 32bit/768kHz and DSD512.
