Fundamental Co., Ltd. has announced the launch of its new amplifier series, the “ZERO Series,” with the first model being the dual-chassis integrated amplifier “aina,” available for pre-order from December 1, 2025. Price: ¥5,280,000 (tax included).
The “ZERO Series” was developed with the philosophy of “returning to basics in both structure and electronics.”
Main Features
-
Dual-Chassis Design with Pure Aluminum Machined Chassis: Adopts a dual-chassis configuration with completely separated amplifier and power supply sections. Each chassis is machined from a single ingot of high-conductivity pure aluminum 1070, ensuring thorough non-magnetic properties and vibration control.
-
Non-NFB Voltage Amplification Stage with Discrete Configuration: The voltage amplification stage employs a Non-NFB (Non-Negative Feedback) circuit using ultra-wideband, high S/N discrete high-speed current buffer amplifiers. Achieves extremely low residual noise averaging below 7μV.
-
Powerful Output Stage with Custom Parts: The current amplification stage features a 3-stage Darlington output stage using wideband bipolar transistors, delivering 32W×2 (8Ω) rated output. Utilizes meticulously selected components including a newly developed original protection circuit without protective relays, custom metal film resistors, and custom solder.
-
Made-to-Order with Customization Options: Employs a made-to-order production system where each unit is assembled by a single craftsman. Input terminals (3 systems) can be selected as either XLR or RCA connectors at the time of ordering.
