FOSTEX has announced the “T925A-ST” horn super tweeter, a limited-edition model shipping from late January 2026. Priced at JPY 93,500 (incl. tax) per unit.
First Limited Edition of the T925A
This marks the first limited-edition variant of the long-selling “T925A” alnico magnet horn super tweeter. It features a newly developed ring-shaped titanium diaphragm, along with adjustments to the large, low-distortion alnico internal-magnet circuit for further sonic refinement. These enhancements deliver extended highs and an open, transparent soundstage.
New Ring-Shaped Titanium Diaphragm
The driver employs a titanium diaphragm formed into a ring shape. This design offers excellent transient response, enabling clear and penetrating high-frequency reproduction.
Magnetic Circuit and Housing Design
The alnico internal-magnet circuit features copper plating on the pole piece to further reduce current distortion. The precision-machined thick-walled cylindrical aluminum alloy horn, combined with an equalizer, ensures delicacy plus appropriate resonance characteristics.
Input terminals are gold-plated banana-plug compatible, with internal wiring using Φ1.4mm copper-silver alloy solid-core wire.
