Korean portable audio manufacturer Astell&Kern has announced the “SP4000 Copper,” a limited edition of their flagship portable music player “A&ultima SP4000.” Available from February 2026.

The SP4000 Copper is a limited model with the standard SP4000’s chassis changed to 99.98% pure copper. The company states that copper’s “ideal audio characteristics” improve sound quality through conductivity and shielding properties.
