Yukimu will release the CH-AMP Signature, a DAC-integrated headphone amplifier from its brand EARMEN, in early December 2025. While pricing is open, the market expects retail around ¥198,000 (approx. $2,000) including tax.
Two-Chassis Design with Separate Power Supply
The CH-AMP Signature adopts a separate design with the main unit and power supply separated. Both chassis are constructed from robust CNC-machined aluminum enclosures, with the independent power supply providing low-noise and stable voltage, aiming to improve dynamic range.
The configuration combines EARMEN’s fully balanced headphone amplifier CH-AMP with the USB-DAC TRADUTTO, positioned as the brand’s new standard model.
ESS ES9038 DAC Chip
The DAC section employs the ESS ES9038 DAC chip, supporting playback up to PCM 768kHz/32bit and DSD512. Digital input features USB-C and also supports Bluetooth reception. Analog inputs include two systems: 4.4mm balanced and RCA single-ended.
IEM Mode and Preamplifier Function
Headphone outputs include 4.4mm balanced and 6.3mm single-ended on the front panel. Operating the gain switch activates “IEM Mode,” switching to a dedicated low-noise circuit suitable for high-sensitivity in-ear monitors (IEMs).
The rear panel features RCA line output, enabling use as a preamplifier.
OLED Display with VU Meter
The front panel features a highly visible OLED display with VU meter, with main operations controllable via the included machined aluminum remote control. Internal components include carefully selected audio-grade materials such as WIMA capacitors, MELF resistors, and OPA1642, aiming for neutral and refined sound.
Specifications and Accessories
Dimensions and weight are 150W×30H×150Dmm / 550g for the main unit, and 150W×60H×150Dmm / 1,590g for the power supply. Accessories include a machined aluminum remote control and power adapter.
