UK audio accessory brand Stack Audio has released the “AUVA SW,” a hybrid isolator specifically designed for subwoofers. The latest addition to the company’s AUVA series, this product is designed to effectively manage the low-frequency energy unique to subwoofers, maintaining clarity and composure throughout the entire system.

AUVA SW was developed to prevent the vibrations generated by subwoofers from transmitting to floors and surrounding equipment. According to Stack Audio, using this product results in tighter, more controlled, and more focused bass while maintaining the clarity and composure of the entire system. Furthermore, by eliminating structural vibrations that would otherwise mask fine details, it maintains spatial cues and midrange coherence, contributing to a stable, natural soundstage.

AUVA Particle Impact Damping Chamber
Each isolator, which serves as the first point of contact with the subwoofer, features an AUVA Particle Impact Damping Chamber housed within an aluminum pod. Inside the chamber, tuned-mass particles absorb and disperse vibrations, converting kinetic energy into heat.
Subwoofer-Specific Tuning
While the company’s AUVA speaker isolators hold speakers firmly to maintain mid-high frequency driver alignment and imaging, AUVA SW takes a different approach. Subwoofer energy is omnidirectional and generates long-wavelength vibrations that travel through structures.
